Ixion's xForms technology is a browser-based solution for extending unstructured, forms based data in a portal environment. Using IBM WebSphere Application Server as its foundation, this portlet application provides you with a forms based solution for sending and receiving operational forms. This technology combines the portal environment with a forms based portlet service that creates a simple yet powerful collaborative system.

Self-Contained Architecture. xForms for Portal and Workplace is based on a the IBM WebSphere Application server. It can be deployed as a single server that delivers the portal environment to the desktop browser and operates with an LDAP such as Microsoft Active Directory.
